The short version

Real Online Timer doesn't have accounts, doesn't collect personal data, and doesn't use tracking cookies. Everything the timer needs to remember — your duration, alarm sound, theme, and custom presets — is stored only in your own browser's local storage and is never sent to us or anyone else.

What we don't collect

• No account or registration is required to use the site, so we hold no login credentials or profile data.
• No analytics or usage tracking is currently active on the site.
• No cookies are set by this site for tracking or advertising purposes.
• Timer settings never leave your device — they're read from and written to your browser's local storage only.

What's stored locally, on your device

The site uses your browser's localStorage to remember your last-used duration, selected alarm sound and volume, theme (light/dark/system), custom presets you've saved, and which timer style you last picked. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted anywhere, and can be cleared at any time using the "Clear saved settings" control on the timer, or by clearing your browser's site data directly.

Hosting infrastructure

This site is hosted on Cloudflare's network. Like any web host, Cloudflare's infrastructure processes standard connection-level information (such as IP address and request metadata) as part of delivering the site and protecting it from abuse — this happens at the network level, independent of anything built into the site itself, and is governed byCloudflare's own privacy policy.

Advertising

The site has a reserved, currently-empty space for a future ad placement. No ad network is connected today and no ad-related data is collected. If that changes, this policy will be updated first to reflect whatever that ad provider's own data practices are.

Changes to this policy

If what this site collects or how it's hosted changes, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change accordingly. Checking back here is the way to stay current — there's no account to notify.
