Time's Up!
A quiet timer for meditation
This page opens in the minimal display mode by default — just the numbers, nothing else competing for attention — so you can set a duration, press Start, and put the device down without a busy screen pulling your eyes back to it.
Choosing a session length
- 5 minutes — a short daily practice, or a settling-in period.
- 10 minutes — a common length for a focused sitting practice.
- 15 minutes — a fuller session once 10 minutes feels comfortable.
- 20 minutes — a longer, deeper practice.
Choosing a gentle alarm
Open the alarm settings and preview the "Soft" sound with the Test button — it's the gentlest of the five options, meant to end a session without a jarring interruption. Volume can be turned down further, or muted entirely if you'd rather rely on glancing at the screen.

Frequently asked questions
Why does this page look different from the other timer pages?
It opens in minimal display mode — a smaller, quieter digit style with no progress ring by default — intended to be less visually busy for a meditation practice. You can switch the display mode at any time from the settings below the controls.
Can I turn off the alarm sound entirely and just check the time visually?
Yes — use the mute toggle next to the timer controls, or turn the volume down to zero in the alarm settings panel.
